Attorney Marc J. Weinstein manages his own law practice, Marc J. Weinstein PLLC, through which he provides legal advice, counsel and advocacy for educational and assessment technology providers, nonprofit associations, certification and licensure organizations, and other companies in intellectual property matters, privacy issues, civil rights matters, internal investigations, contract negotiations and disputes, organizational governance, and other areas of law that impact their business. Marc began his career as a prosecutor for the Office of the State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where he served as an Assistant State Attorney for four years. Marc has tried 45 cases before juries and more than 100 non-jury cases in a wide variety of civil and criminal cases in numerous state and federal courts.

When stakeholders or third parties violate the policies or rights of testing organizations, Marc can help them identify and pursue all potentially available remedies, including score cancellations, organization-imposed sanctions, licensure proceedings, civil litigation, and, if appropriate, referral of the matter for criminal investigation.
